Even though we had a long weekend I decided to take Tuesday off too. I wanted a day to myself and to sleep in after our big weekend (I love sleeping). I woke up late and than went to one of my favourite cafes and drank coffee and read for a few hours. I just finished 'A visit from the Goon Squad' and am starting 'Lessons in Heartbreak'. I have been so slack with reading lately that I decided that a few dedicated hours was exactly what I needed.
I than decided to drop by my fave opshop and lets just say my shopping ban went completely out of the window as it was an absolute treasure trove in there! I should never have tempted fate, am looking forward to sharing with you what I got tomorrow.
I put this outfit on so I could be warm and comfortable for my 'me' day. I definitely think that big woolly jumpers are called for on a long winter weekend.
Oh I got a hair cut too! It doesn't really look any different but it is nice to have my fringe a little more under control - don't ever let me get a fringe cut again, it is way too much effort to grow it out.

That cardigan is gorgeous! I've been wearing a lot of colored stockings too - by colored I mean less black! ;) Today was quite warm in Canberra, I was walking around outside in a sleeveless dress! Loving the weather :)
ReplyDeleteI'm struggling with my fringe, my grandmother made me paranoid about my forehead - she said I have a big one and need a fringe! Argh!
Sounds like you had an awesome day! I love "me" days. Its fantastic to spoil ourselves a little sometimes :)
ReplyDeletesounds like a gorgeous day, I love days like that :) xx
ReplyDeleteI did notice your haircut...it looks great!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of me days none quite as productive as yours! I really need to get my butt reading again! You look very nice and warm. xx

i enjoy "me" days and what a CUTE outfit for one. I looove the wooly jumper. You look soooo pretty!
ReplyDeletei've always wanted to pull off the socks over the boot look-- you've inspired me to do so. now if only winter would hurry along ;)
XO
Big fan of the "me day" here. It's a staple. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat sweater is adorable, and I love it paired with your fun tights! And by the way, I love the new hair. I know you said it's not much different, but it looks wonderful!
