For my birthday this year I wanted to go on a wine tasting tour with my friends. However, it is pretty expensive and I don't feel comfortable asking my friends to spend a lot of money for my birthday. Instead my very wise house mate suggested we have our own wine tasting - each guest brings a bottle of wine to share with the group and I will be providing some yummy finger food (think salami, cheese, Turkish bread, eggplant dip mmmmm). Were planning on having this in our newly renovated front yard (which I will share photos of once its completed). So for now I have been scouring the internet for inspiration on hosting the perfect garden party....

Whilst I highly doubt I will reach the standards of these gorgeous garden parties they have definitely got me thinking about fairy lights and pastel decorations.

ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea darling! And how nice of you to think of your friends and their budget. Although I'm sure they would have paid whatever to celebrate you, this way will be more intimate and even better than the tour! I LOVE finger foods and you had my stomach growling at the yummy stuff you listed. I wish I could come to your birthday party! :)
